ABOUT ME
I work in the area of Soft Condensed Matter, i.e., Materials that show interesting physical behavior at energy scales comparable to room temperature thermal energy. These include Polymers, Colloidal Suspensions, Emulsions, Gels, Complex fluids with non-Newtonian rheology etc.
Within soft matter, I work broadly in three verticals:
1. Polymers & plastics - Functional properties and Recycling
2. Colloidal matter - Emulsions and Suspensions
3. Hydrodynamics of complex fluids and thin liquid films.
Research in my group employs a mix of computational and experimental techniques.
Prior to joining IIT Madras I was a faculty member at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal.
